"Oh Lord God Almighty, how long will your anger smolder against the prayers of your people? You have fed them with the bread of tears; you have made them drink tears by the bowlful."
This was my answer: "The Christian community will teach you all the good and perfect verses for when life is going well. I hope those are all you'll ever need. But chances are a day will come when you want to ask the Lord 'how long' or complain that you are drinking 'tears by the bowlful.' On the day you have questions that do not have answers, you will know the words for that day are there in Scripture, too."
