Saying Goodbye

It's been a remarkable couple of weeks gathering with both sides of my extended family as we say goodbye to my grandfathers.  My mother's dad was a hero to his country and a hero to his family.  I think we all left the emotional service yesterday inspired by his legacy of love for his Alzheimer's stricken wife, for the underprivileged, and for each of us.

"A good name is better than fine perfume,
and the day of death better than the day of birth."
~Ecclesiastes 7:1~

I've been thinking lately about an assignment from one of my college classes.  The professor had us each write out our own eulogy as we would want it spoken at our own funeral.  On the due date, rather than have us turn in the assignment, he simply left us with the words that I share with you:
"Now go live it."
