Note to Self

LISTEN. You miss so much when you are busy. You never regret listening to the stories of your grandparents generation. Slow down and listen.

LISTEN for what the Lord is doing. Whether it's chit-chat in the church lobby or running into a friend at the grocery store, you can hear what the Lord is up to if you'll just listen for it.

LISTEN to what God says about you. You are redeemed, chosen, made new, a daughter of the King, a part of the radiant bride of Christ. The destroyer cannot have what God already claimed with the blood of the Lamb. Listen to Truth.

LISTEN to the God who speaks. You can't miss it, but you can ignore it. Don't be afraid to hear.

SPEAK when He gives you something to say. Be bold for Christ. There is a piece of the Father deposited in you that He means to share.

"Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good,
and you will delight in the richest of fare....

my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.....

This will be for the LORD’s renown,
for an everlasting sign,
that will endure forever."
