I thought this Chocolate-Banana Pudding was the culinary highlight of the summer. The family was less than enthusiastic.
I still think it's worth sharing (thanks, Marykate!):
1 avocado
1/2 ripe banana
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup honey
1 T. coconut oil
1 tsp. vanilla
(add water if needed)

Peach sauce, blackberries, dill pickles, bread and butter pickles, and golden nectar. Ideally, tomato products would have been next, but I'll have to accept he wisdom of a good friend who likes to tease me, "Wal-Mart never runs out."

Solar s'mores :)

You can find the directions
here. Supposedly, it can be a lesson on the greenhouse effect. We made it a lesson on oooey, gooey goodness.

In preparation for dehydrating, these cherry tomatoes are marinating in olive oil, garlic, and sea salt. Yum!!! Once crunchy they make a nice snack and tasty pizza toppings.

We will have to try the s'mores. And, while I had aspirations for canning this year...it's just not worked out. lol. Or, I was just too lazy? All I seem to be able to do is chop and freeze any "leftover" veggies for this coming up fall/winter season. Maybe it's because I don't know what I'm doing? Have any FAVORITE canning recipes and instructions you wanna share?
Ooooo that pudding sound so yummy!!!! I will have to try that. Marykate always has great recipes like that bean dip, I need to get that one ummmmm!!!!!
